SlideBuddy
Carousels and photo mode — not video

Patients aren't comparing dentists. They're avoiding one.

What actually stops someone booking is cost, insurance confusion and fear — in that order. SlideBuddy turns those into carousels in your practice's branding and publishes them, so the answers are there before anyone calls.

  • Insurance and cost, in plain English
  • Your branding, every slide
  • Nothing publishes unreviewed

Five carousels free, no card · Or 7 days of everything, publishing included

Why most practice accounts don't convert

They're posting to people who have already chosen a dentist, and staying quiet about the things that stop everyone else.

The feed is offers and equipment

New scanner, whitening special, holiday hours. None of it answers the three questions that decide whether someone books.

The real barrier is fear, not awareness

People avoid care because the unknown frightens them. A feed that never acknowledges that isn't competing for those patients at all.

Insurance confusion loses appointments

Patients genuinely don't know what's covered, what in-network means, or that benefits expire. That confusion is a booking barrier you can remove with content.

What to post instead

Remove the barrier, don't advertise past it

Every one of these is something a patient is already searching for and mostly finding badly answered.

Insurance, explained without jargon

What in-network actually changes, why two practices quote differently, what a maximum is. High intent, and almost nobody covers it clearly.

Use-it-or-lose-it benefits

Reminding patients that annual benefits expire is one of the most reliably effective posts in this industry, and it's a genuine service rather than a pitch.

What a procedure is actually like

Minute by minute, honestly, including the parts people dread. Naming the fear directly does more than reassurance does.

Prevention that saves real money

The small thing now that avoids the crown later. Costs framed as avoided costs land better than any discount.

There's a longer list — 30 dental post ideas grouped by the barrier each removes, with the fee-advertising trap covered properly.

What it handles

The production, not the clinical judgement

You decide what's true about your practice and your prices. It handles everything between that and the post being live.

One topic becomes a month

Give it a procedure or a theme and it produces a run of carousels — cost, process, aftercare, myths — each with its own angle rather than the same post reworded.

Your practice's look, every slide

Palette, fonts and logo set once, applied to everything after. Rotate a few of the 20 styles so a consistent feed doesn't read as one template repeated.

Published, not exported

Posted to Instagram, TikTok photo mode and Facebook through their own APIs — sized for each rather than one export cropped three ways.

Nothing posts unreviewed

The day's batch lands on one screen for edits or removal. In a regulated setting that's the control that makes automation usable at all.

Read this part

We tell you to post about cost. Here's the catch.

Cost content is the highest-intent thing a practice can publish, and it's also where dental advertising rules bite hardest. The common standard is that quoting a fee which omits related procedures likely needed to complete the treatment counts as deceptive — so a clean headline number can create a problem that a range and an explanation wouldn't. Advertising a specialty is separately and specifically regulated in most states.

A generator knows none of this. It will write whatever descriptor or figure you hand it, confidently. That's the reason every carousel lands on an approval screen before publishing, and the reason we'd leave auto-approve off for a practice.

The workable version: explain what drives cost and why quotes differ between practices, rather than leading with a single number. It's safer, and it's genuinely more useful to someone trying to work out whether they can afford to come in.

This is a description of what the product can't do for you, not legal advice. Your state board, the ADA's guidance and your own counsel are the authority.

Before you start

When this is the wrong tool

Four things worth knowing now rather than three days into a trial.

It doesn't make video — and for anxiety, video wins

No Reels, no team introductions, no chairside clips. The most consistent finding in dental marketing is that patients meeting your team on video before they arrive is what reduces anxiety most. This handles the explanatory half; it doesn't replace showing your face.

It can't keep you compliant

It writes copy with no knowledge of your state board's rules, how specialties may be advertised where you practise, or what your professional liability carrier expects. Every state prohibits false or misleading dental advertising, and enforcement is real.

Be careful quoting fees

Advertising a price that excludes related procedures likely needed to complete treatment is generally treated as deceptive. Since we actively recommend cost content, that's worth knowing before you post a number — ranges and what drives them are usually safer than a headline figure.

One brand on the entry plan

Solo covers 1 and 3 connected accounts. A group with several locations each wanting its own voice is a Studio job rather than a $29 one.

The first is the honest one. If your main goal is easing anxiety, the strongest thing you can do is let patients see your team before they arrive — and that's video, which we don't make. This covers the explanatory half that otherwise never gets written.

Questions

Can I post patient photos or smile transformations?
Only with proper authorisation, and that's yours to obtain rather than something the tool manages. A dental practice is a HIPAA covered entity, and using patient images in marketing requires written authorisation that's separate from treatment consent and specific about which images, which platforms, for how long, and how the patient revokes it. Layout is something we can do; consent isn't.
Is it safe to post about pricing?
Post about cost, be careful about quoting a single fee. The common rule is that advertising a price which omits related procedures likely required to complete the treatment is deceptive — so a headline number can create a problem a range and an explanation wouldn't. Explaining what drives cost, and why quotes differ between practices, is both safer and more useful to the patient.
Can I say I'm a specialist?
That depends on your credentials and your state, and it's one of the most specifically regulated areas in dental advertising. A generator will write whatever descriptor you give it, which is exactly why every post goes to an approval screen first. Check your board's language before it appears in a caption.
Does it make Reels or team videos?
No — carousels and TikTok photo mode only. That's a real gap here rather than a minor one: for reducing dental anxiety, patients seeing your team is the strongest tool available and we don't produce it. Use this for the explanatory content and film the human parts yourself.
Can I run several locations?
Each location that wants its own voice needs its own brand. Studio covers 5 and 15 connected accounts; Agency is unlimited on both. Brands are the unit rather than people, so there are no per-seat logins.
How much time does this actually take?
Reviewing a batch, most days — a few minutes once you trust the tone. The first fortnight takes longer because that's when you're correcting voice on the approval screen, which is also what makes the later weeks quick.
What's the cheapest way to try it?
The free plan: 5 carousels on one brand, every style, full resolution, no watermark and no card. It downloads rather than posts, so seeing the automation needs the 7-day trial — that takes a card and cancels any time before it ends.

Answer the three questions, every week, without writing them

Set your practice's look once, approve the first batch, and let the explaining happen while you're chairside.

Full features for 7 days, cancel any time before it ends. Card required to start the trial so posting can begin immediately — or take five carousels free on the no-card plan, for ever.
