Every client posting daily, without a production line
A separate brand per client — own voice, own palette, own schedule, own accounts. Carousels generated overnight and published for all of them, from one approval screen.
- Unlimited brands & accounts
- Nothing leaks between clients
- Drive it from Claude or Cursor
Five carousels free, no card · Or 7 days of everything, publishing included
Social retainers stop being profitable at client four
The work doesn't scale, because almost none of it is strategy. It's deciding what to post for a client whose industry you half-know, designing nine slides in their colours, writing a caption, and uploading it — then doing that again for the next one, every week, for a fee that assumed it would get faster.
Hiring for it turns margin into salary. Doing it yourself caps how many clients you can take. The third option is software that does the production and leaves you the part you're actually paid for.
Separation
A brand per client, not a folder per client
The thing that breaks most multi-client tools is shared state. Here a brand is the unit, and brands don't know about each other.
Its own everything
Palette, logo, fonts, tone of voice, topic bank, posting schedule and connected accounts. Set up per client and nothing crosses between them.
Its own learning
Content angles are A/B tested per brand, not globally. What works for a dental practice doesn't get applied to a roofing client because it won somewhere else.
Its own numbers
Performance is tracked per brand and per platform, so when a client asks how last month went there's an actual answer rather than a shrug.
Its own pace
Up to 8 posts a day per connected account on Agency, set independently per client — a new restaurant and an established B2B account shouldn't post at the same rate.
Unlimited brands and connected accounts on Agency at $199/month, up to 8 posts a day per account. Running fewer clients? Studio covers five, and extra brands can be added to a smaller plan for $19/month each.
New clients
Onboarding takes about ten minutes
And the first fortnight is paced for you, which matters more on client work than on your own account.
- 01
Set the brand up
Palette, logo, fonts, tone of voice and the things the client does and doesn't want mentioned. Ten minutes, once.
- 02
Connect their accounts
Instagram, TikTok and Facebook through each platform's own OAuth, as an admin. Revocable by them or you at any time.
- 03
Let the ramp do the pacing
One post a day in week one, climbing weekly to the rate you set. A new account posting six times on day one is how it gets throttled while the client watches.
MCP access
Ask Claude how your clients did this week
SlideBuddy runs an MCP server, so you can connect it to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client and work across every client account without opening the app. Included on Studio and Agency.
In practice that means asking which brands are underperforming, whether anyone's accounts have broken, and queueing a carousel for a specific client — in the same place you already draft the client email.
No other tool in this category offers it, which is worth saying plainly because it's the one claim on this page a competitor can't match by shipping a workspace dropdown.
list_brandsEvery client brand on the account.
list_slideshowsWhat's been made, and what state it's in.
get_performanceImpressions and engagement per brand and platform.
get_content_learningWhich angles are winning for a given client.
queue_slideshowGenerate a carousel for a client without opening the app.
get_account_statusWhether a client's connected accounts are healthy.
When it breaks
Unattended only works if it fails loudly
The risk of automating client work isn't that it posts something odd. It's that it silently stops and you find out on the monthly call.
You hear before the client does
A health check every morning emails you if a client's account has gone quiet or a token has started failing. On retainer work this is the feature that saves the relationship.
Tokens refreshed nightly
Renewed before anything tries to publish rather than at the moment a post fails. Instagram tokens in particular expire quietly, and the first symptom is silence.
Failures are visible, not swallowed
A post that doesn't go through is retried and then shown as failed on the dashboard. Nothing is dropped quietly to keep a success rate looking tidy.
Per-client numbers when they ask
Impressions and engagement per brand and platform, ranked by what actually landed — so the monthly call has something in it.
Before you commit
What it doesn't do yet
Four things an agency will hit in the first fortnight. Better here than after you've onboarded three clients.
There are no team seats
One login per account. There's no invite flow, no per-user permissions and no way to give a junior access to one client but not another. If several people at your agency need to be in here, today that means sharing a login — which for some agencies is a dealbreaker, and it should be.
It isn't white-label
No custom domain, no removing SlideBuddy from the interface, and no client-facing portal you can hand over. Clients never see the tool — you use it and they see the posts — but if reselling it under your own brand is the plan, this isn't that.
There's no client report to export
Performance is visible per brand inside the app, but there's no branded PDF or scheduled email you can forward to a client. Today you'd screenshot it or copy the numbers into whatever reporting you already send.
Three platforms, plus two on Agency
Instagram, TikTok and Facebook everywhere; YouTube and LinkedIn on Agency. Nothing for X, Threads or Pinterest — if a client needs those, they need another tool alongside this one.
If any of those are dealbreakers, they should be — and you've saved yourself a trial. If they aren't, everything above this section is accurate and checkable.
Agency questions
- How many clients can I run?
- Unlimited brands and unlimited connected accounts on the Agency plan at $199/month. If you're running fewer, Studio at $79 covers 5 brands, and you can add extra brands to Solo or Studio for $19/month each rather than jumping a tier.
- Can my team log in separately?
- Not yet. There's one login per account, with no invite flow or per-user permissions. Agencies where several people need their own access are genuinely not well served by this today, and it's better you know that now than after you've onboarded three clients.
- Can I white-label it for clients?
- No. There's no custom domain, no branding removal and no client-facing portal. In practice most agencies using something like this never show clients the tool at all — they show them the posts — but if reselling under your own brand is the model, this isn't built for it.
- What happens when I onboard a new client?
- Set up the brand, connect their accounts, and the warm-up ramp handles the pacing: one post a day in week one, climbing by one a week until it hits the rate you set. That matters more on client work than on your own account, because a brand-new business account that suddenly posts six times a day is the fastest way to get it throttled while the client watches.
- Can I drive it from Claude or Cursor?
- Yes — that's what the MCP server is for, and it's included on Studio and Agency. You connect SlideBuddy as an MCP server and can then ask your assistant which clients are performing, what's queued, whether anyone's accounts have broken, and to generate a carousel for a specific client. No competitor in this category offers it.
- How do I know a client's account hasn't quietly stopped posting?
- A health check runs every morning and emails you if a connected account has gone quiet or its token has started failing. Tokens are also refreshed nightly before anything tries to publish. On client work this is the feature that matters most, because the alternative is a client noticing before you do.
- Do clients have to approve their own posts?
- There's no client-facing approval flow — the daily approval screen is yours. Agencies generally either approve on the client's behalf under an agreed content direction, or send a week's batch over by hand before approving. If client sign-off inside the tool is a hard requirement, this doesn't do it.
- How do I try it on a real client?
- The 7-day trial turns on publishing and scheduling with full features, so you can set up one client properly and watch a week of posts go out. It takes a card so posting can start immediately, and cancels any time before it ends. If you'd rather see output quality first without that, the free plan generates and downloads with no card.
Set up one client and watch a week
The fastest way to judge this is to run it properly on a single account for seven days and see what lands.
Full features for 7 days, cancel any time before it ends. Card required to start the trial so posting can begin immediately — or take five carousels free on the no-card plan, for ever.
