Carousels that generate and post themselves
A scheduler queues a post you already made. SlideBuddy writes it, designs it, queues it and publishes it — to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, every day, without you in the loop.
- Generated, not just scheduled
- Published through the platforms' APIs
- One approval screen a day

Scheduling and automation are not the same thing
Almost every tool in this category calls itself automated. Nearly all of them mean scheduling: you make the carousel, you upload the slides, and the tool puts it live at 3pm instead of now. That's genuinely useful — and it saves you the smallest part of the job.
The part that actually costs you the evening is deciding what to post, writing it so it doesn't sound like everyone else, and building nine slides that look like your brand. Do that daily and the queue is never the bottleneck. You are.
A scheduler
Starts from a finished post
You still design it, export it and upload it. It just decides when.
SlideBuddy
Starts from a topic
Copy, images, slides, queue and publish. You approve, or you don't.
Native publishing
Published, not a notification telling you to publish.
A lot of tools quietly hand TikTok back to you — they'll queue the post and then send a push notification asking you to finish it on your phone, because direct posting is something the platform has to approve. SlideBuddy publishes to all three itself.
- Instagram carousels through the Graph API, on a Business or Creator account you connect
- TikTok photo posts through the Content Posting API — a real post, not a reminder
- Facebook Page carousels through the same reviewed integration
- Connect and disconnect from your account, or from theirs, whenever you like
Not a reposting service, and not a robot driving your logged-in browser — both of which are the things that actually put an account at risk.

The daily loop
It runs on a clock, not on your memory.
The same cycle every day, whether or not you open the app: refresh, generate, wait for approval, publish, check the accounts are healthy. Every connected account is guaranteed at least one post a day.
Posts land between 7am and 10pm in the brand's own timezone, spaced out rather than fired off in one block — six carousels arriving at 6:01am reads as automation to a human as much as it does to a platform.

Automated doesn't have to mean unsupervised
The thing that stops most people handing their feed to a tool isn't whether it works — it's not knowing what it's about to say. So the whole day's batch lands on one screen: every carousel, every caption, every account it's going to.
Approve the lot, drop the one you don't like, or edit the copy first. Most people use it closely for a fortnight, then trust it and stop looking — and if you never open it, Auto-Create keeps the accounts posting anyway.

Without breaking the run
When it goes wrong
Unattended only works if it fails loudly
Anything that runs on its own will eventually stop running on its own. What matters is how long it takes you to find out.
New accounts ramp instead of sprinting
Week one is one post a day, and it climbs by one a week until it reaches the rate you set. Going from nothing to six a day overnight is a reliable way to get throttled.
Tokens refresh before they break
Access tokens are renewed nightly at 3am rather than at the moment a post fails. Instagram tokens in particular expire quietly, and the first symptom is usually silence.
You hear about it the same morning
A daily health check at 10am emails you if a connected account has gone quiet or its token is failing — instead of you noticing three weeks of nothing.
Failures are retried and visible
A post that doesn't go through is retried and then surfaced on the dashboard as failed. Nothing is dropped silently to keep a success rate looking tidy.
Getting better
A queue doesn't learn anything. This does.
Set-and-forget usually means the output on day two hundred is exactly as good as day one. SlideBuddy tests your content angles against each other for each brand separately and shifts future posts toward whichever one that audience actually responds to.
- Every published carousel is matched against what the platform reports back
- Content angles are tested against each other per brand, not globally
- Whichever angle is winning for this audience gets used more often
- You see the same numbers it does, ranked by what actually landed
Setup
Set it up once, in about ten minutes
Four things, and then the only recurring decision is whether you want to look at the batch before it goes out.
- 01
Connect the accounts
Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, through each platform's own OAuth. You approve the connection, and you can revoke it from your account or theirs at any time.
- 02
Set the brand up once
Colours, logo, fonts, tone of voice, the things you want mentioned and the things you don't. Everything generated afterwards already looks and sounds like you.
- 03
Choose topics, or don't
Feed it your own list, or turn on Auto-Create and it pulls from a topic bank matched to your audience and picks what to cover each day.
- 04
Approve the first batch
One screen, the whole day's posts. From then on it generates overnight and waits for you — and if you'd rather not look, it will keep the account posting on its own.
The difference
A social scheduler vs. this
Schedulers are good at the job they took on. It's just a smaller job than the one you have.
| The job | A social scheduler | With SlideBuddy |
|---|---|---|
| Where the carousel comes from | You make it in a design tool first. | Generated from a topic — copy, images and layout. |
| Getting it onto Instagram | Upload the slides, then queue them. | Published through the Instagram Graph API, nothing to upload. |
| TikTok carousels | Usually a push notification telling you to go post it. | Direct post through TikTok's Content Posting API. |
| What you do each day | Design, export, upload, queue. | Approve a batch, or nothing at all. |
| Pacing a new account | Whatever rate you set on day one. | Starts at one a day and climbs one per week. |
| When a token expires | Posts stop. You find out eventually. | Refreshed nightly, and an email the day one starts failing. |
| What gets better over time | Nothing — it queues what you give it. | Angles that perform for this brand get used more. |
Questions about automated posting
- What's the difference between scheduling and auto-posting?
- A scheduler takes a post you've already made and puts it live later. Auto-posting, at least the way SlideBuddy means it, starts a step earlier: you give it a topic and it writes the copy, designs the slides, queues the result and publishes it. The distinction matters because the scheduling was never the slow part — making something to schedule was.
- Does it actually post to Instagram, or just remind me to?
- It posts. Carousels go up through the Instagram Graph API on a Business or Creator account you've connected, with the caption attached. No push notification telling you to go and do it yourself.
- Can it auto-post carousels to TikTok?
- Yes, as a native photo post through TikTok's Content Posting API — the same format people call photo mode. This is the one most tools can't do; a lot of schedulers fall back to a reminder for TikTok because they don't have direct posting approved.
- Do I have to approve every post?
- No, but you can. There's one approval screen per day covering the whole batch, and plenty of people use it for the first few weeks and then stop looking. Auto-Create will keep the accounts posting whether or not you open it.
- How many carousels a day can it publish?
- Up to one per day per account on Solo, four on Studio and eight on Agency — and that's per connected account, so a brand posting to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook gets that rate on each. New accounts don't start at the top of that range; the warm-up ramp climbs to it.
- Will auto-posting get my account flagged?
- Publishing through each platform's official, reviewed API is the version of this they've explicitly built for — it's browser automation and third-party reposting services that carry the risk. The bigger practical danger is volume: a two-week-old account suddenly posting six times a day looks like exactly what it looks like, which is why the warm-up ramp exists and is on by default.
- What happens if a post fails?
- It's retried, and it shows up on the dashboard as failed rather than disappearing. If a whole account goes quiet or its token stops working, the daily health check emails you the same morning instead of leaving you to notice three weeks later.
- Can I run several brands or clients from one account?
- Yes. Each brand has its own palette, voice, topics, schedule and connected accounts, and nothing crosses between them. Solo is one brand, Studio is five, Agency is unlimited on both brands and accounts.
- What do I need to get started?
- An account to connect and about ten minutes. Generating and downloading is free for five carousels with no card; publishing and scheduling are the paid part, since that's where the API integrations and the machinery that runs every day actually live.
