SlideBuddy
Publishing to Facebook Pages through the Graph API

The Facebook carousel maker that posts for you

Give it a topic. SlideBuddy writes the copy, designs the slides and publishes the multi-image post straight to your Page — then sends the same carousel to Instagram and TikTok.

  • Posted to your Page, not downloaded
  • 20 visual styles
  • Cross-posts to Instagram & TikTok

What a Facebook carousel post actually is

Organically, it's a multi-photo Page post — several images attached to a single post that people swipe through in the feed. Same idea as an Instagram carousel, same content works on both, and it costs nothing to publish.

It's the format that suits anything explanatory: a price breakdown, a checklist, the five things customers always ask. One image gets a glance. Six get read.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs without you

Set it up once and the Page keeps posting whether or not you open Facebook.

  1. 01

    Connect your Facebook Page

Through Facebook's own OAuth, as a Page admin. You approve the connection and can revoke it whenever you like, from your account or from Facebook.

  2. 02

Give it a topic and a brand

Set your palette, fonts, logo and tone once. Every carousel after that already looks like you, in whichever of the 20 visual styles you picked.

  3. 03

Approve, and it posts to the Page

One screen for the day's batch. Approve and SlideBuddy uploads the images and creates the multi-photo post itself — nothing to download.

Worth clarifying

Carousel post or carousel ad?

Facebook uses the word for two different things, and which one you meant changes the answer entirely.

Organic carousel post

This is what SlideBuddy makes

  • A multi-photo post from your Page
  • Reaches the people who already follow you
  • Costs nothing to publish
  • Published automatically through the Graph API

Carousel ad

A different product entirely

  • Bought and configured in Ads Manager
  • Its own creative specs and per-card links
  • Needs a budget behind it
  • Not something SlideBuddy creates or manages

If you want to run the slides as an ad afterwards, nothing stops you — download the carousel at full resolution and upload it in Ads Manager yourself. There's no watermark on the output at any tier.

Cross-posting

Facebook is rarely the only place it needs to go.

Most people setting this up want the same content on Instagram as well, and increasingly on TikTok. Doing that by hand means resizing everything and repeating the upload twice. Here it's one approval.

  • One approved carousel publishes to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Rendered per platform — 1080×1350 for Instagram, 1080×1920 for TikTok photo mode
  • A caption written for each platform rather than the same text pasted three times
  • Counts once against generation, so cross-posting costs nothing extra
One carousel, three posts
  • FacebookMulti-photo Page post
  • InstagramCarousel at 1080×1350
  • TikTokPhoto mode at 1080×1920

Connect only the accounts you want. Facebook alone is fine.

Pages go quiet because posting is a chore

Almost every neglected business Page followed the same path: enthusiastic for a month, patchy for two, then nothing since. Not because anyone decided to stop — because making the next post was always tomorrow's job.

SlideBuddy generates the day's batch at 6am, publishes through the day, and guarantees every connected account posts at least once. If the Page does go quiet — an expired token, a revoked permission — a health check emails you that morning rather than leaving you to notice in six weeks.

The difference

Making the post vs. it being posted

The design is the part people imagine. The uploading is the part that stops them.

Facebook carousel questions

What is a Facebook carousel post?
Organically, it's a multi-photo post — several images attached to one Page post that people swipe through in the feed. It's the same idea as an Instagram carousel and it's what SlideBuddy publishes. Worth knowing that Facebook also uses "carousel" for a paid ad format, which is a different thing bought through Ads Manager.
What's the difference between a carousel post and a carousel ad?
A carousel post is organic: it goes out from your Page to the people who already follow it, and it costs nothing. A carousel ad is a paid placement with its own creative specs, per-card links and a budget behind it, created in Ads Manager. SlideBuddy makes the organic kind. If you want to run the slides as an ad afterwards, download them at full resolution and upload them in Ads Manager yourself.
Does it post to my Facebook Page automatically?
Yes. SlideBuddy uploads each image and creates the Page post through Facebook's Graph API, with the caption attached. You'll need to be an admin of the Page when you connect it.
Can it post to a personal profile or a Group?
No — Pages only. Facebook's API doesn't offer publishing to personal profiles to third-party tools, and Groups aren't supported here either. If your audience lives in a Group, you'd post there by hand.
How many images can a Facebook carousel post have?
More than you should use. SlideBuddy generates a carousel in the same shape it would for Instagram — usually six to eight slides — because a post that takes too long to swipe through tends to lose people well before the last one.
Can I post the same carousel to Instagram and TikTok?
That's the usual reason people set this up. One approved carousel goes to all three, rendered at the right size for each — 1080×1350 for Instagram, 1080×1920 for TikTok photo mode — rather than one image cropped three ways.
Is there a watermark?
No. Downloads are full resolution and unbranded on every tier, free included. Adding your own logo or @handle to the slides is a setting you turn on, not one applied for you.
What does it cost to try?
Nothing, and no card. The free plan gives you five carousels on one brand with all 20 visual styles, at full resolution, to download and post yourself. Publishing to the Page is the paid part.

Give the Page a week of posts
